wwp, I for 1 have caught more fish out of smaller (memory builds) cool boats than anything...Why is that? well I guess it comes down to basic, where we started,and awesome trips in between.. I can still hear the chain rattle off the lock of a 10 ft Monark at a rental pond at daylight. with my dad and twin bro Kevin going shhhhh..be quite Kipp...Damn!! Elcrtra Pal trolling motor running up through the gears...WOW Bass Hawk was a good Hull for the Mid 80s..The Atl boat show in like maybe 89 or so had a front carpet booth with some real nice looking stuff...nice people for sure heard some good performance # 0ut of them..sure looked good We fished closer and harder. Small boats and small motors your not going to make that 25 mile run. Plus I have seen way to many tournaments won by someone staying within 2 miles of the weigh in.
