So did you come to any conclusions on why it did that, as in humidity, temp, whatever? Would have thought it would be compatible being same brand. Sounds like shootin' lacquer over enamel effect.... Lookin' sweet. Like to see some super close-up of this "brush job". :D no totaly sure but it was just lacquer effect. very odd. i will try to get you a close up pic
