I worked the OKC boat show in 2001 with him and I had a great time talking with him and he would talk to anyone that came up and said "hi". At that time he was running a Triton. There was one really funny moment though, One of the other guys was showing a boat to a guy and they were up in it and had some hatches open looking at storage, ect, when Mike asked the guy, "How would you like to meet Roland Martin?" The guy said ( without even looking up, because we had walked over and were standing right beside the boat) I wouldn't want to meet Roland Martin if he were standing right beside me." Roland just smiled and turned around and walked over to another boat. I was glad that I wasn't drinking a pop, because I would have blew it out my nose I was laughing so hard.
