I got the extra primer because I need some for other things around the house. I figured I'd do my gearcase & pad, then have the rest to use for my stair railings, riding mower, etc. I'll go down to 3 & 1/4 when I get the new prop. I'll be going down in blade number and in pitch by 1 inch, but I'll be going up over an inch in diameter which should make up for the difference. 3lb I know what you mean! With the shooter & where the motor is you have to have it trimmed just right which is all the way in to get up on plane, and once there I can go out only so far really not even to where I know is level before it would catch air. My biggest issue is the porpoising at medium speeds where I want to run (between 35-40 & 50). I'm a bass fisherman, the porpoise needs to go home!, lol! As always appreciate the advice Jay.
