It doesnt....re-read the thread... draday88 made a post saying the great quality of phoenix bass boats especially their aluminum gas tank.... btw...all bass boats are speed boats not so sure what type of question that was....I know I can out run a phoenix of the same size....and mine is just a pos cookie cutter stratos.... Mmmm.... I wouldn't go quite that far. Many bass fisherman THINK that, but 65-75 mph (typical speeds of most bassers) is just cruising speed to true high performance aka. "speed" boats. Heck, thats what most Jet-ski's can run these days and I don't consider them "speed boats" (although they feel like they are going faster than what they actually are running). Back in the 70's and early 80's 65-75 mph in a lake boat would have been considered a "speed boat" I suppose.
