Most of my mechanicing is on my tractor and riding mower but Im with you Allie knees make a better way of holdind stuff in place than unreliable help lol Sure do GF. And the way a lower is shaped, with the motor tilted about halfway makes it easy to hold it with your knees. One on each side of the skeg. Sometimes under the cavitation plate depending on how high the motor is off the ground. Tilting the motor up helps with the weight of it too. My V6 is a B@#@h! Especially on me being a woman I don't have the upper body strength men do, lol! I manage to do it though, and, this winter it's about due for it again with all the salad and crap I prolly sucked up in it down at the Big O, especially when I polished my Hyperdrive and spun the hub. It's not pumping as strong as it once did. I'd like to be able to nose cone my lower with low water pickups this time when I do it and have my lower off. Right now I gotta run my motor too low for the props I use prolly costing me 4 mph easily. Hopefully, available funds will allow me to do it this time.:D Allie;)
