How fast do those barges run on the Mississippi? I was in the Rim Canal once around Okeechobee and one of those things came by pretty good and I thought we were going down from the wake. We were going real slow but the darn wake almost swamped the boat. Even if you missed the barge in the fog the wake would probably put a hurting on you.
