Ok, found another problem with champions assembly process. They did not seal the top of the cap on-top of the transom so im shure the transom is junk even though it sounds solid im almost shure it is shot, we will know more when we get the cap off. Looks like they may have used some type of red sealer inder the alum. trip but it did not last.
