Easy now, the word "assault rifle" was a German term for a full automatic, full size, rifle caliber, shoulder stocked gun with removable magazines for speeding up ammo reloads.(hence Gewr, (H&K G3 is an one good example) The Term "Assault Rifle" came from the lovely liberals in the political world, because they thought the "black guns" A.K.A assualt rifles were only design for killing. Notice that a Ruger Mini-14 is not classified as an assualt rifle, aslo notice the M1 Garand, nor the M14, nor an SKS if it is not changed from the original configuration is not considered an "Assault Rifle". Just saying!!!! Also note, I do own 2 AR-15's, 2 AK's, 2 mini-14's, Barret M90 .50BMG, 3 AR-10's, FS2000, 3 sniper rifles, and well I'll stop there. If its black and holds 30 rounds + i probably have it. God bless the 2nd amendment and America!!!! Sorry I'll get off my soap box now.
