Sounding good 4strokes... Since you mentioned neddle jet and valve.. And you might have done this, since you play in the Motorcycle world like I do. When I find some corrosion or surface clutter inside the Needle valve that hinders seating I take a Q-Tip and chuck it up into a slow speed drill(battery operated) Then i dip the Q-Tip in some valve grinding compound or DuPont rubbing compound and polish out the bottom of the Needle Valve at a slow to medium speed. I inspect sludge/corrosion with some 25 power loops...cause I can't see anyway..lol re look at it when done...Float jet will seat again.. Beats buying parts.. Have Fun running down the lake.. Same here brother, done it a million times on MY personal stuff. :D This was a pointed air needle valve screw though, I should have been more clear on that but decided to use the actual parts description for those unfamiliar with the process.
