Here’s the nutshell analogy for me. So far as fault and corruption I will always err on the side of private industry over Big Government any day of the week and twice on Sunday. The most recent 08 failure of the economy!!…..sure Wall St, mortgage bankers and investment corporations had a hand in it but to the day I die the bottom line fault lies within the laws Big GOV creates that dictate how our businesses are forced to operate. Imagine your demise if you were forced by law to loan your no count brother-in-law money knowing full well he will never qualify to pay you back. What do you do? You gather up a bunch of the shady loan promised and signed contracts you’ve made and sell them to someone else to recoup your losses…..or be a real nice guy and eat the loss. Where do you honestly stand? Remember, there were “community organizers” out there protesting big banks through the 90’s, similar to the current Occupy idiots, to force banks into loans in the name of discrimination. Guess who was a community organizer. We go bonkers when we’re told Soc Sec is going broke and want to string up anyone who suggests allowing people the “choice to participate”. Too many think the solution lies somewhere within GOV to continue managing stuff when over the past 65 years their management has been proven to fail. Why on earth do we expect GOV to manage our health care? We’ve been sold that it is our “right”. Over and over and over we continue looking to government to solve things they should never have been involved in from the getgo. The list is endless with GOV involved in energy and what we can and cannot do! What the hell! American spirit is do what it takes!!…..not do as you’re subsidized and within the laws politicians dictate! The hell with that! Closing out I’d say try to think anytime in our countries history have we been so dependant on what politicians say and do for us. That’s why I will remain steadfast in my belief in trusting business over government. You may despise your mortgage banker but at least he ain’t going to force you to financially support some jerks lifestyle you’ve never met nor desire too.
