I just haven't seen it...at least on my Stratos and now my Allison. Drag racers...where every 10th of a mph or second helps, I could see it making a difference. I totally understand the theory behind it and have no doubts it works on HP boats, I just have never seen proof of waxing vs non-waxing and even sanding the pad on a basser making a bit of difference. I have been told thats why merc went away from the polished finishes on the Sportmasters...
