This is an annual event ,occurs mid august.brite moon will keep a lot of the weaker shooting stars from being seen.From midnight to dawn next few nights the 13 th being the height of the activity.
They are harmless specks of dust,but provide a display of light,there is no danger being outdoors and viewing.
So if your up early to go fishing or just cant sleep take a peek.
