Well it's almost here once again, Spring time is just around the corner so heres a tip to help get your boat water ready for the new season.
If you haven't already done this in the fall, nows a good time to do this.
Pull your prop off and do a real good look over at the blades, one of the main thing to check for is small cracks that can and will develope on the leading and trailing edges, have these repaired a.s.a.p. those little cracks will become big cracks before you know it. While you have the prop off be sure to inspect behind the thrust washer for fishing line.
If all checks out good then re-install your propeller and tighten the nut back down per manufactures specs.
Its always a good practice to check the prop nut aleast every other trip to the lake. That little extra time you take could save you from one big headache out on the water...
