Hey All,
Hope ya'll are well! I have an older trolling motor that works and is complete,it's foot controlled BUT, it's only 35 ftlbs. My question is (without calling a repair person/shop)could you take the head off of a new motor, say a 65 lb,and retrofit it on the old setup. This is the motor that came on the boat, has the correct mounts,it's the right shaft size,in other words it would be really good if this would work. And really all I need is the new head anyways.I am just trying to save 500.00 I'm thinking that it would be fairly easy but this is just my thinking!
Anyhoo,thanks in advance!
Take care and GOD BLESS!
Donnie
