I just noticed that my prop is a 24 pitch tempest plus. I thought the new Z7's with a 200 were coming with a 26 pitch? I'm also getting allot of cavitation when putting the hammer down to get on plane. It seems that it cavitates for 2 seconds then the prop finally bites and takes off like a bat out hell. Right now the prop has the biggest pvs pugs in and I'm still in the break in period so I don't know what my max rpm is a wot. I also don't have a jackplate but it seem they mounted the motor pretty high since I'm at about 18 on the water pressure when on plane trimmed up. From what i've read this is not enough prop for my boat and I want to get my facts strait before I go to the dealer. I was thinking if they need to put a new prop on I might ask for a fury. What pitch should I get if they agree with the fury? thanks for any help.
