I have a 2006 Stratos 285XL with a 150HP Johnson. I currently have a 4-blade Renegade 13 1/2 x 25 prop and it and it is only running 48MPH @ WOT 5800RPM. I have tried a 14 1/2 x 24 Raker 3 blade which increased my top speed but did not lower my RPMs. I then tried a Renegade 4-blade 13 1/2 x 27 pitch and it lowered my RPMS but kept blowing out on take off. Any suggestions on a prop? I just don't want to keep using my current prop as it is running at too high an RPMs.
