Older Stratos aerator timer issue

Question I have a 91 201 pro everything electrical works except the 2 min 4 min 6 min timer for the aerators their is a silver round cannister under the dash coming from the switch wiring is this timer control.........can you still get these some were I turned on the master aerator switch and the pumps will come on for about a second and then go off.
Anybody have experience with similar problem
