Bennett Spring State Park: 57 degrees, the spring level is about normal and clearing; best lures: pink and white colored and gingersnap colored marabou jigs, John Deere colored jigs, cream midges, orange with brown stripe colored Rooster Tails, grey scuds, black and yellow wooly buggers with gold plated head, brown roach, peach colored and yellow colored Power Baits and cheese balls, white rubber worms and tri-colored glo balls. July fishing hours are 6:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.

Maramec Spring Park: 56 degrees, water is clear and flow is normal for this time of year. Fishing has been very slow. Fish early in the morning. Try deep holes and around cover during the afternoon sun. Small Rapalas and white jigs have been effective. (Report made on 7/7/2010)
Montauk State Park: 59 degrees, the river level is normal and steady as of 8:30 a.m. on July 8th. The water is clear. Fishing is good on all baits with the best fishing in the morning and evening hours.

Roaring River State Park: 57 degrees, normal, we will be cutting aquatic weeds Friday July 9th, cutting will not start until after 10:00 a.m. and should be complete by 2:00 p.m. The water is getting very clear, use 2 lb test or lighter, white and orange plastic baits are working well, brown Power Bait eggs and worms are doing great, spinners and marabou jigs are working well.
