TROUT PARKS
Bennett Spring State Park: 57 degrees, the spring level is about normal and clear; best lures: pink and white colored and olive/black colored marabou jigs, John Deere colored mini jigs; brown and black colored roaches, cream midges, orange with brown stripe colored Rooster Tails, grey scuds, white colored and yellow colored Power Baits and trout nip, orange plastic worms and easter egg colored glo balls. July fishing hours are 6:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. August fishing hours are 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
We will be cutting weeds August 10 and 11. We will start around 8 a.m. and be finished by 4 p.m. each day. (Report made on 7/28/2010)
Maramec Spring Park: 56 degrees, the water is clear and the water level is normal. Fish early in the morning. Try deep holes and around cover during the hot afternoon sun. Small Rapalas and white jigs have been effective. White doughbait is very popular. (Report made on 7/29/2010)
Montauk State Park: 60 degrees, normal, clear; the river level is normal and steady as of 8:00 a.m. on July 29nd. The water is clear. Fishing is good on all baits with the best fishing in the morning and evening hours.

Roaring River State Park: 57 degrees, normal, the water is getting very clear, use 2 lb test or lighter; white and orange plastic baits are working well; spinners, brown and green jigs and red plastic worms are working well in deeper holes; brown Power Bait eggs and worms are doing great; spinners and marabou jigs are also working well.
