Flywheel update

Well it's done and she lives..I didn't go with the 1 inch holes like I had planed, I decided to drop down a notch to a 15/16 just for the added strength that concerned me. I had no way to weigh before and after. I did check and recheck the balance and only had to do very minor adjustments. I used black primer to protect it (no paint)..I also decided not to drill holes in the very top because after removing the rope starter plate there was really no good place to remove more metal, if I had to guess the plate weighed about a pound by it self, I figured that would be plenty off the top..I hope to run this weekend but the weather is not looking very good so far. I will post the results as soon as they happen...
