The inaugural "Florida West Coast Triple Crown Billfish Series" will be held this spring / summer 2014. The series will kick off on May 15th -18th with the Sam Crosthwait Memorial Tournament. The Crosthwait has agreed to expand their divisions to include a new open billfish division. The tournament will be based out of the Bradenton Yacht Club in Palmetto Florida. The second leg will be the Yellowfin Billfish Classic. This event will be held July 22nd to the 26th and will be held in Sarasota.
