My set up is a 1997 ranger r80 (17'10")with a 150 merc rx6 and a bass renegade prop 13 1/2 23 pitch 4 blade.
well got a get me a 24 pitch, or have Jay work one of my renegades.
Also Charlie is fixing my lower unit, which mistiriously had a crack on it, lockily no damage other than the housing, so don't really know how new (used) lower is gonna perform.
What I really would like from this set up right now since I can't get larger 175hp motor is to run faster than the 150's at my local club.
maybe even faster than the bigger heavier older boats. Right now I know I can keep up with the 150's, and I don't even have the right prop, so it might be possible to do.
