My friend had unique problem with his Alumicraft Lunker. The boat started leaking badly this spring and he found pin holes all over the bottom of the boat near the keel. Turns out he had mouse nests under the floor while in storage last winter. He called Alumicraft and their tech dept. told him that mouse urine will eat right through an aluminum hull. No fix for his boat,too many holes and too thin to weld. He sold it for scrap. You guys need to put Decon or moth balls in your boats if you store them where a mouse can get at them. I hope this post saves someones boat from meeting the same fate.
