Well I pulled the trigger and ordered the Asus G74SX-A1 17.3 inch gaming laptop last night. My desktop is close to 5 years old and has been acting up recently so I figured I may as well make the purchase before the other one crashes and burns. This thing has an HD screen (1920x1080), 12 GB of Ram and 3GB of DDR5 Video Ram and combo Blue Ray Drive. Should be great for gaming and watching movies. I went with the laptob because the desktop was taking a ton of room in the office and my wife hates the wires going everywhere. Well if this is what it takes to make the little lady happy and clean up the office then so be it.
