I had the oppurtunity this past weekend, thanks to our fearless mentor, to take a spin on the famed Table Rock Lake. Now I'm from Mississippi. I have a lot of lakes around to fish on. Some close, some far. But they are there for the enjoyment.
But to my knowledge, I don't have anything in the whole state that is even remotely close to the size and magnitude of Table Rock. I can honestly see now why it was so tough at the tx in April. Going by the size of it, the wind and rain could really screw up a tx. The place is just huge. We rode around for probably an hour and a half, and I know we didn't even scratch the surface of it. It has just about any kind of structure that you would like to fish.
And I'll have to admit, my host was nothing less than perfect. I enjoyed my whole weekend. Those folks really know how to treat people. When my wife says that she enjoyed it, then by gosh it was a great time. My hat's off to Kevin and Laura. You two are the bomb.
