this weekend i was fishin a club tourny I had noticed a grinding sound while my boat was idling, also after i would start my boat if i didnt crank over i noticed my starter was acting like it was staying engaged, I had checked my linkage about a month ago so i knew it was not causing the grinding sound, took the cover off the motor noticed the starter was was sticking or stayin engaged, sorry im not a mechanic so my terms may be a little screwy so bare with me, any how me a my partner messed with the starter, finnaly go the boat to start, when it would it would run for a bit then when i would put it into gear to take off it would die
. being frustrated since we only had about 7 min to get back to the weigh in i didnt think to check the bulb, anyone that can read this and give me any kind of help would be appreciated, i am hoping to keep the cost as low as possible since how i recently became one of the several milliion hard working americans that has been handed their pink slips.
