so here im sitting on sunday morning watching wfn (fishing texas is on currently)
and the fishing question buzzing around in my head is what should my priorities be? i dont mean the usual thoughts like put your kids ahead of your fishing, be sure to teach them about being ethical anglers ect. what im pondering on is my future fishing purchases. for instance i would love to be really looking around for a new boat but i know i need a new truck first. the new graph i got this year just makes me want to upgrade my other unit that much more. yeah i have been planning on replacing some of my reels that are starting to wear out but im wondering if my rods shouldnt get upgraded first. most and on the cheaper end of the spectrum and im wondering if i wouldnt get the bang for my buck buying new rods first. my thoughts are that while buying shinny new reels and lures might seem more exciting, that new rods would could make the biggest improvement in taking my game to the next level. sure a new graph with gps would be fun to play around with and useful, maybe im missing some light bites with my cheap rods.
so maybe i should be thinking 1. rods 2. reels 3. lures unless a great clearance deal is found lol and all while saving my pennies and searching for that oh so needed truck for pulling the boat not to mention all the home improvement projects ive got to get taken care of. then when all thats said and done start searching for that new to me boat lol
