Well my Fat Ass broke the front seat post where it mounts into the deck.
I sat on it yesterday & it broke almost sending me off the boat & into the water.
Lucky for me the Terrova has a long wire that allows me to control the TM from anywhere on the boat, so it was not a huge issue & we had a good day anyways..
But now this is another project I must start on.
I've not given it a good look yet because I forgot about it today.
I wanna up-grade while I'm at it to a telescopic shaft & maybe one of those seat that are more like a stool & when you turn it away from you, you have a padded cushion to lean against while your stand.
I like that set up & wanna do it now since its time to fix it..
Any help on how to possible fix my mount where it broke is appreciated.
My Boat should be re-enforced to deal with my weight. ( Yeah yeah I know I need to lose weight & I am enrolled in a diet program I started at Kaiser last week, so I am working on it. )
But, I wonder if I should just let the boat shop I use do it for me being its what they do, vs me spending weeks trying to do it myself.
But work is slow right now so money becomes an issue as well...
