I bought one, and I be ready to install it soon.
reading the instalation instructions I got confuse with step #2 which reads "position the pump in an upward direction at 45 degrees away from the tank. Now, the primary purpose for this pump is cars, in a boat pump is far away from tank, but on my boat the best way to install it would be to hang it on a cross plate just under the well wash. my intention is to move water/fuel separator to right side (facing back of boat and this is closest to fuel line coming from tank) and then run fuel line to pump that would be install right next to it but hanging from that plate (actualy is fiberglass) and then run it to motor. Now if upward direction means vertical I can install it on right side of boat. pictures show vertical and underneath where they show how to connect filter and all it shows horizontal, does it make a diference?
