What is the reason boat makers limit the power rating available to us for boats they make?
An example is on the Tracker web site.
A new Bass Tracker Pro 16 comes with a 20 HP out board on it standard & then the only other option is the 30 HP option...?
Why is this?
Can it handle 60 HP?
Or 100 HP?
is it because the design of the hull will beat you to death if you go over 30 HP?
Or might it be a structural design of the hull that can not handle the issues that night come up with more power?
I'm gonna be looking at a Tracker that has 60 HP & thats twice of whats available from the dealer....?
Of course I only know what they offer for the current models, the one I'm talking about is a '92.
