Lake Glenbawn saw 57 team's do battle for the honour's in RD4 of NSW bassin serie's on the weekend.
Team '"Optional Extra's",Ron and Jack Jones took out the win after cracking a pattern,targeting bass suspending in around 10 to 15ft using an ice jig in red and black to get the bass.They had to keep the Ice Jig in the bass face to get them to strike,using a short sharpe twitch to get em to hit,they ended up with 12 fish weighing 9.88kg.
Team Mako's Greg Parkes and Steve Almond took out second place weighing in 10 bass for 7.79kg,they also targeted bass in the 15ft depth, using Berkley Gulp's and vertically jigging them in the suspended fish.
Third place went to Team Damiki/Bar's optical consisting of Greg Flett and Toby Wilson,weighing in 7 bass at 7.380kg.They used several different tatic's,vertically jigging bass with Ice Jig's,using plastic's in amongst the tree's as well as using blades to catch there fish.
