So....Got a call from my brother in Bloomington IL Saturday night and they rushed my mother to the hospital. She couldn't talk right and was slurring her words real bad. Her left arm and leg were numb and she could not walk. The doc's think she had a mild stroke but are unsure at this point. She has regained some feeling in her left side but still favors her right while trying to walk and can speak without the slur. I will be flying out tomorrow morning and headed that way even though all the fam is telling me to stay put because there is nothing I can do. I feel like I should be there just to give here some lifted spirit.
