misfire? 125 hp Force motor

I have a misfire on my motor. It will idle just fine, and when I engage the motor into forward, it will do alright from 1500-2000 rpm. Around 2000-2500, there is a misfire and the motor will hiccup. On open throttle, it is not getting as high up in the rpms as it had previously. Once I run it WOT for a few min, it will have trouble idling. Ive also noticed fouled plugs. I just replaced the plugs, and the motor seemed to run better, but not as good as it was earlier this season.

This all started when my fishing partner put too much oil in the gas mix. It was running at about 75:1. The next day I made some long runs in choppy waves and then had the low speed issues the next time out. There is about half a tank of the bad gas in there now.

Also the engine does not like to cut out when I turn the key off. It keeps running until I push the key in (while it is in the "on" position) and choke it out. I checked the key ignition and didnt find anything wrong.

Are these problems related? I know I have bad gas and need to fix that first, but did I do something to the motor? Could this be an electrical problem? Any ideas?

On a side note, what size prop should I be running on this boat? Its a 17' Norris Craft with a 125hp force motor, and it is a DOG to get up on plane.

Thanks for the help,
