To modify or not to modify?
How many of you have used the Manns 1 minus?
Did you modify it by drilling a hole in the front and removing all but 2 bbs from the front so it could be used as a wake bait as well as a crankbait or did you use it straight from the package?
Ive used it both ways and have found it is much easier to use around cover and makes a better wake with the bbs removed, if you have never modified one of these baits like myself you may want to try it! Here is how it is done, first drill a small hole right in front of the front hook about the size of a pencil remove all but 2 bbs and then use a light weight two part epoxy to seal the hole when the epoxy is set sand smooth and repaint the area i usually use either a red or chartrues Ive noticed that to much paint is not good so just cover the area that has been affected by the modification!
