I have only had the opportunity to use these in a boat for 3 days last fall. I have a depth finder than is on its way out and I am thinking of moving the one I have at the console to the front and buying a new one. I am considering the HDS 5 or HDS 7 and was just wanting any personal insight. I know lowarnce has finally fixed the leaking problem but there are still new ones out there from the production that leaked.
Any way any personal information any of you have on these would be great.
