Bite-less all morning, Derek Remitz finally put No. 1 in the boat ... and it's a good one. Very similar to Day 2, Remitz spent hours in search mode this morning. "Finally," he said as we applauded. Now he's hoping the similarities between Day 2 and 3 will continue. Within 45 minutes of his first fish yesterday, Remitz boated a limit worth 18 to 19 pounds.
With reports of Whitney Stephens having 18 pounds already and Remitz facing a grueling hour-and-a-half boat ride in, things are going to need to get right in a hurry for Remitz. Stay tuned.
