Looking to purchase a Laptop for the wife for Christmas who knows nothing about a computer, as far as that goes I'm sure not a wizard either. Any suggestions on name brands how about the processor, and speed. I think you call it WiFi what is all involved to make the Laptop WiFi, there's something else I have to purchase?? I'm running cable from Charter Cable. Just some suggestions so when the time comes I don't look like a Complete Idiot when purchasing the laptop. Prices range from $299.99 - $1,500.00 in the St. Louis area, would like purchase one for $300.00-$400.00 if possible.
