with the economy the way it is and the car MFG's suposedly hungry I went shopping for a deal.
First I will say that I am only interested in a "top of the line rig". Do I need leather, nav, and power everything, probablly not but that's what i want.
Well they are awefully proud of their trucks these days. I did not look at one brand, rather I went out with an open mind and looked at the following:
Ford - Dodge - Chevy - Toyota.
In each case a 1/2 ton (loaded) 4x4 from any of the MFG's listed above was close to $50K. :wallbash: Yes they will deal (some) but add tax and lic and you are back close to $50K.
Wether or not I can afford such an expensive vehicle is not the point, the point is how did 1/2 ton pick up trucks get priced so crazy!!
