well made it home finally. 16 hour drive. not up there on the fun things i've done in the past. The trip was great tho thanks to southernbassguy and Bama. without meeting those folks it woulda sucked big time. We had a great time hanging with them during the cold days shopping and drivin all over Alabama for stuff. great new friends.
got there on sunday wind blowing 30mph temp in the 20's and snow
mon more wind temp again in the 20's didn't wet the boat
tues if you can imagine it was even worse still haven't launched the boat
wed cabin fever sets in and we , SBG AN I (bamma chickens out) try it
lasts about an hour too cold
finally thurs and fri are over 30 deg and no wind for a while but I guess the fish were at Lay lake cause they weren't anywhere near us.
met BB on thurs and got to meet Kip on friday now thats a whole other story. by the time i got to their campsite the bottle was half gone and all were feeling just fine.
