So I'm getting ready to change my jackplate this morning and as I trimmed the motor up I noticed it seemed really loose. The bushings in the attached photo's
no longer seem to exist and the bolts are bent. I guess I did that as well when I hit whatever it was I hit. I give up, I brought it to a local shop who said bring it right in, so I did. He estimates that it's going to be 300-350 including installing the new jackplate so I said fine just do it. I'll have it back on Friday. So now I'm boatless which bites 'cause I hear they're biting pretty good after our rain. Grrrr it's times like this that make me wonder why I put myself through this ...
