It just gets more apparent all the time that NPR & PBS needs to go on their own and off the public funding trough. The most recent event with this guy Schiller shows where the majority of NPR execs opinions lie. That’s all fine and good and I could care less. Just don’t expect any public funding and push whatever agenda you have on your own dime like everyone else does. Years ago I volunteered for a PBS telethon fund raiser. Young and naïve, at the time, it was a true let down to witness first hand the on-air fraud. I sat with about a dozen other folks on camera supposedly answering phones for donations. Fact was they had an off camera engineer flipping switches to continually ring phones so it appeared legit and busy. I think I got two actual calls after 3 hours. Survive on your own guys……it’s time.
