Have ya ever wondered why they have the reels labeled backwards?
Just think about it for a second.
Right Hand Reel: The handle is on the right side of the reel. If it's a right handed reel, then why do you have to cast it right handed, and then swap it to your left hand to reel it in?
Left Hand Reel: These things are made backwards from the get go.
If the handles had been on the opposite side of the reel when we all started with them, we would have never known anything like this. We would have been casting left handed for the right hand reels, and very smoothly just engaged it and kept on going. Who started this crap????
