Flocked grips--hae any????

I just removed a grip that was flocked on a bass rod and replaced it with cork. No problem but I'mthe one that flocked it!!! Thats what he wanted and now he didn't like it and wanted it removed. Shold have taken pics of it but wanted to get it off and get the new grip on ASAP...
Anyway, does anybody out there use them??? Still have it and like it????Hate it...tell me
