Floating Worms

It seems the bass are becoming less interested in the bigger frogs lately so I bought a few bags of floating worms for the days when they get a little gunshy with the frogs. I like the idea of the slimmer profile and letting it sort of just sit there. I remember when there was alot of hoopla about them and I read where people use them for certain drop shot rigs etc but I never seem to hear much about people using them unweighted on the surface. Does anybody else use these on a regular basis?
