As time goes on and it will I have realized that there are a few things I do now that I didnt before in age.

I have noticed that if I dont take a few precautuions that I cant be as productive on the water as I once was.Eating right, getting plenty of rest, and keeping realitively fit are just a few things that are important.

Instead of staying out late before a day on the water get to bed early. Eat something before you launch the boat. Helps the body to fuel up and the mind stay sharp.During the day drink plenty of water ......not soda ......helps the muscles to stay hydrated and eat some good snacks like trail mix or granola bars.

And especially during inclement weather do a few stretches before taking off.

Remeber your body and mind are tools.........tools if not taken care of perform badly so............TAKE CARE OF YOUR TOOLS!!!!!!
