Ever Green’s NEW Last Ace 140 Swim – A Highwater Mark in Swimbaits
As more and more people go fishing, and fish get pressured more we all know they aren’t getting any dumber. So to deal with this issue, Ever Green International has brought a brand new and more sophisticated swimbait with the Last Ace 140 Swim. Built to get ahead for the fish universe’s learning curve this new swimbait design brings out improved authenticity and action. The Last Ace 140 Swim comes in at a respectable 5.5 inches and 3/4 oz, putting it just in the “big swimbait” category. Right on the line where bass of all sizes from 2lbs up to double digits will gladly take a swing at this t-bone with fins.
“The larger profile of the Last Ace 140 Swim provides that special caloric motivation for a big bass to attempt its next meal,” said DAIWA Field Marketing Manager, Chris Martin, with a hint of darkness in his voice.
Several features have been implemented by Ever Green to make the Last Ace 140 Swim a cut above the rest, starting with teh line-through design. The swimbait sports an internal harness system that guides the leader line easily through the bait to connect to the custom black nickel plated #2 treble hook. This hook was specifically chosen for the best natural presentation while providing a good hook-up ratio. The line-through design also removes any leverage the fish had when shaking lure, unlike that of a traditional fixed hook swimbait.
These swimbaits are meant to be fished as a “chuck and wind” slow-rolling bait in the upper- and mid- water column, though nail weights can be added into the bait behind the internal harness for fishing along the bottom too. The Last Ace 140 Swim uses a saltless soft plastic formula that is durable but still supple enough for a lifelike action when fished. These baits are going to be available in seven lifelike color patterns and all come with 3d eyes and textured fins for added realism. MSRP is $15.99 per swimbait.
