I was in at my local Lube Change store recently. Now I normally change my own oil but in our Warranty agreement it states I need to get it done “professionally”…Neither here nor than, was only mentioning it as a disclaimer so you don’t revoke my “Man card” 
My issue is on my 2005 Durango XLT with the 4.7L V8 there is a new part that Chrysler has been installing on many if not all of their newer trucks. Its something that I am assuming is built into the oil pan somewhere but I can not find it. It’s a device that when you pull it out, it is designed to give you an indication of whether or not you have condensation build up in your engine.
The mechanics showed me the device to point out that I have build up in my engine, but I never actually saw where the part was taken from or put back into. Could someone please give me some direction as to where I can find this?
