Well, I found out the hard way that the transducer in the nose cone of my new Motorguide will not support the DSI unit in the boat. Lowrance says that the DSI transducer is a 455 khz unit, and the nose cone has a 200 in it. Shot hooking that up. But never fear, ol Nic will swap cones with his brother who owns one without the transducer in the nose. He will have a cone for his unit in the nose of his TM, and I'll mount my TM transducer in the cone from his. Problem solved. Only difference it makes is that to me it's better protection from the hazards in the water, than to have it hanging on the bottom of the TM.
