When ever I get on the water I have an issue getting the cold outboard started. ( '92 2 stroke Johnson/Evinrude 60hp )
It cranks & cranks then finally starts & I typically have to play with the throttle a bit to give it a bit of rpm so it don't die.
Then once we get going it runs great!
& then if I only stop for 20 minutes or so & fire it back up its not too much trouble to get going again.
But if I sit at a spot for an hour or two, its like the boat has been sitting all week again & its hard to get it running...
Its sucks once you've pulled up the anchors & the currents taking you into the rocks or shallows & the motor keeps stalling!
Yes, once the trolling motor is mounted I will be able to use that to get me away from the rocks & shallows.
But it wont explain to me what wrong & why it does that.
Any tips or info you might have to teach me how to do some adjustments or what ever would be very appreciated.
